Junior Associate

1. Purpose:
- Perform legal consulting works at the requests of the Company’s clients and other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Team Leading Partner (TLP) in an effective manner, ensuring quality and professionalism;
- Participate in the business development tasks of the Company through the process of performing professional works and Marketing tasks of the Company.


2. Main Responsibilities/ Duties
Professional Tasks:
- Conduct professional works as assigned by the TLP: research, consult, check, compose documents; contracts; dossiers; perform other procedures and professional works…;
- Contact, work with the clients and other third-parties with the purpose of performing the works as assigned by the TLP;
- Collaborate with and/or support colleagues in handling, directing the handling of group’s works;
- Ensure the quality of the services/works provided by oneself;
- Manage case dossiers in one’s charge and other related works.

Business Development Tasks:
- Compose and/or assist the TLP in composing fee proposals that meet the clients’ requirements and the Company’s scope of activities.
- Search and notify the TLP of the opportunities to establish new customers and cases;
- Participate in promoting and developing of the Company’s image in domestic and foreign markets through the activities of writing articles in newspapers; magazines, attending seminars as assigned by the TLP;
- Actively participate in associations, industrial organizations / communities as assigned by the TLP to develop the Company’s image;
- Participate in building and developing cooperative relationships between the Company and the Company’s clients, partners.

Other Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain good relationships with colleagues and positively contribute to building a team-work environment;
- Contribute, offer opinions to improve the Company’s processes, procedures, policies;
- Comply with the Company’s internal management regulations during the working process;
- Perform other appropriate tasks as assigned by the TLP.

3. Rights:
- Work with the clients, sign/send fee proposals, contracts, letters/ consultation products as assigned or after the TLP has checked/approved;
- Reserve one’s opinions/arguments during the working process;
- Refer to the documents in the Company’s Library in accordance with the Company’s regulations on Library management and information security;
- Request the TLP to provide necessary and reasonable support during the working process;
- Other rights as allowed by the TLP.

4. Report Channels:
- Report directly to the TLP (or the Managing Partner if required)

5. Requirements:
Professional Qualifications & Knowledge:
- Lawyer (with a practising certificate) or has graduated from the Lawyers Training Program;
- Law university graduated or higher degree.

Skills, Abilities & Experiences:
- Ability to research, synthesize, think, analyze, work independently well;
- At least 02 years of consulting experience in the responsible field (or at least 01-year at commercial law firms);
- Competent, good works organizing, directing and handling skill;
- Good command of English, able to present and express well;
- Proficient use of office software.

- Have a good working relationship with the governmental agencies that are related to one’s responsible field;
- Active, enthusiastic, high sense of responsibility and dedicated to contributing to the operations and development of the Company.
